Easy 5-Ingredient Turkey and Cream Cheese Rollups

A quick and simple snack featuring turkey slices rolled with a creamy garlic-seasoned cream cheese filling, fresh spinach, and shredded cheddar cheese. Perfect for a light, satisfying bite anytime.

  • 810 thin slices of sliced turkey (about 4x6 inches each)
  • 4 oz (115 g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (about 30 g) fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes until spreadable.
  2. Mix the garlic powder into the softened cream cheese until fully combined.
  3. Lay out the turkey slices on a clean cutting board and trim to about 4×6 inches if needed.
  4. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture evenly over each turkey slice, leaving a small margin near the edges.
  5. Place a few fresh spinach leaves (about 1 tablespoon) on top of the cream cheese on each slice, then sprinkle approximately 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese over the spinach.
  6. Starting at the shorter edge, carefully roll each turkey slice into a tight cylinder.
  7. Optionally, chill the rollups seam-side down in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to firm up.
  8. Slice each rollup into 1-inch pieces if desired and serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to serve.

Notes

Softening the cream cheese before spreading prevents tearing the turkey slices. Roll firmly but gently to keep filling inside. Chill rollups for firmer texture and easier slicing. Store covered in the fridge and consume within 2 days. Variations include adding fresh herbs, hot sauce, or swapping spinach for arugula or kale.
