A warm, gooey cheese dip with the perfect balance of sweetness and heat, ideal for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Optional: Fresh jalapeños, chopped
  • Optional: Chopped chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your baking dish lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheese. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and mix until well combined.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in honey and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat. Taste and adjust the spice level if needed.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into your baking dish. Drizzle half the hot honey mixture over the top, reserving the rest for serving.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden around the edges.
  6. Drizzle the remaining hot honey over the dip. Garnish with chopped chives or fresh jalapeños if desired. Serve immediately with crackers, bread, or veggies.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for better meltiness. Adjust the spice level to suit your guests. Serve hot for the best texture and flavor.
