These caramel apple grapes are a bite-sized treat that combines the crunch of fresh fruit with the sweetness of caramel and salty toppings, perfect for fall parties or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound green grapes, firm and seedless
  • 1 cup soft caramel candies
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 cup salted peanuts, finely chopped or crushed
  • Mini pretzel sticks or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Wash the grapes thoroughly and pat them completely dry with a paper towel.
  2. Carefully insert a mini pretzel stick or toothpick into the bottom of each grape, ensuring it’s secure but doesn’t go all the way through.
  3. Place caramel candies in a microwave-safe bowl with 2 tablespoons of heavy cream. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, melt the caramel on low heat in a saucepan, stirring constantly.
  4. Finely chop or crush the salted peanuts and place them in a bowl for dipping.
  5. Hold the grape by the stick and dip it into the melted caramel, coating about two-thirds of the grape.
  6. Immediately roll the caramel-coated grape in the crushed peanuts or other toppings of your choice. Place the grape on a sheet of wax paper to set.
  7. Allow the grapes to sit for 10–15 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate for a quicker set.

Notes

[‘Dry your grapes completely to prevent the caramel from sliding off.’, ‘Don’t overheat the caramel to avoid it becoming overly sticky.’, ‘Chop toppings finely to ensure they stick to the caramel.’, ‘Work quickly as the caramel sets fast.’, ‘Use fresh, firm grapes for the best crunch and flavor.’]
