These cranberry brie bites combine buttery puff pastry, creamy brie, and sweet-tart cranberry sauce for a festive and easy-to-make appetizer perfect for holiday hosting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, cut into small squares
  • Cranberry sauce (fresh, homemade, or store-bought)
  • Chopped pecans (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your muffin tin lightly with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. Roll the thawed puff pastry out on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases. Cut the sheet into 12 equal squares.
  3. Gently press each puff pastry square into a muffin cup, leaving a little overhang for a rustic look.
  4. Place a square of brie cheese into the center of each pastry cup.
  5. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of the brie in each cup.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle with chopped pecans and add a tiny sprig of fresh rosemary for garnish.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for about 5 minutes before transferring to a serving platter.

Notes

Keep the puff pastry cold to prevent it from becoming too soft and sticky. Use homemade cranberry sauce for extra flavor, and experiment with toppings like crushed pistachios or a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
