  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces, divided
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Let it cool slightly, then mix in granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, folding gently with a rubber spatula until fully combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in half of the Reese’s Pieces, saving the rest for topping.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  8. In a small bowl, microwave the peanut butter for about 20 seconds to soften it. Drop dollops of peanut butter onto the brownie batter, then use a knife to create swirls.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining Reese’s Pieces on top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  11. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before using the parchment paper to lift them out. Slice into squares and enjoy!
