A perfectly balanced icy treat combining tequila, blue raspberry slushie mix, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup for a sweet, tart, and refreshing summer cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tequila Blanco
  • 1 cup Blue Raspberry Slushie Mix (frozen or thawed)
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp Agave Syrup
  • 2 cups Ice Cubes
  • Coarse Salt (for rimming glasses)
  • Blue Food Coloring (optional)
  • Lime Wedges (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glasses by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping them into coarse salt. Set aside to dry.
  2. Juice fresh limes to get about 1 oz of lime juice per serving.
  3. In a blender, combine blue raspberry slushie mix, tequila, agave syrup, fresh lime juice, and ice cubes. Blend on high until smooth and slushy.
  4. If desired, add blue food coloring for a brighter blue and blend briefly. Adjust sweetness by adding more agave syrup if preferred.
  5. Pour the frozen margarita into prepared glasses and garnish with lime wedges or fresh berries.
  6. Serve immediately to enjoy the icy, fresh texture.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for best flavor. Blend ice in bursts to avoid watery texture. Prepare mix ahead without ice and add ice before serving for best texture. Optional blue food coloring can enhance color. For a mocktail, omit tequila and add sparkling water or lemon-lime soda.
