These bite-sized savory sausage stuffing balls are bursting with flavor and perfect for holiday gatherings, parties, or cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground sausage (spicy, mild, or turkey sausage)
  • 2 cups seasoned stuffing mix (cornbread-based or any type)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/2 cup finely diced celery
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line your sheet pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly with olive oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground sausage, stuffing mix, eggs, chicken broth, onion, and celery. Add the garlic powder, dried sage, and black pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls using a small scoop or your hands. Keep them uniform in size for even cooking.
  4. Place the sausage stuffing balls on the prepared sheet pan, leaving space between each one.
  5. Lightly drizzle the balls with olive oil to help them crisp up beautifully in the oven.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

[‘Don’t overmix the ingredients to keep the balls tender.’, ‘Use fresh herbs for a more vibrant flavor.’, ‘Pre-chop onion and celery to save time.’, ‘Form balls uniformly for even cooking.’, ‘Make ahead by refrigerating the formed balls and baking them fresh before serving.’]
