Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Butter the ramekins generously and lightly dust with cocoa powder to prevent sticking. Place them on a baking sheet for easy handling.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl. Stir every 20 seconds if microwaving to avoid burning. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl until pale, thick, and creamy, about 3-4 minutes.
